Well with the Yelp app, you can find the nearest amenities and hopefully someone will have left a handy review to let you know what they are like. Some of the smaller villages might not have many entries. But you can leave your own review to help fellow travellers.</p><p>Google Earth</p><p>There are probably lots of specialist iPhone apps for trekking and walking, but if you want to simply get an idea of where you are if you visiting one of the regions national parks.
